Pet Fashion Week NY | ISLE OF DOGS CREATIVE STYLING SHOWCASE

 

 

 

Pet Fashion Week NY recognizes and encourages the artistic explosion that has hit the pet grooming industry. For the first time in history, pet stylists and human stylists came together in a wave of the future: The ISLE OF DOGS Creative Styling Showcase. Experts from both worlds combined art, fashion, and design with their vast knowledge to create five coordinating, dog and human live art pieces. The 07/08 fashion trend visions provided the color and textural inspiration for the hand-picked stylists to stretch the possibilities and show their ingenuity.


The showcase featured world-renowned pet stylist, Sathit Suratphiphit of Starwood Arts of Dog Grooming School (www.starwoodcenter.com) in Thailand and the famed human stylist, David Klasfeld of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (www.occmakeup.com). The best in their fields, these artists collaborated in an exploration of the unknown and revealed to the audience the magnitude of their talents and skill on both the human and dog canvas.
