Pet Fashion Week NY is proud to host the FIT Student Design Award sponsored by CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements featuring the works of 18 emerging designers. The designs will be on display at the entrance of Design on 4 located on the 4th floor of the Metropolitan Pavilion.
CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements, the product brand for all cut crystal components by Swarovski, is proud to announce an exclusive pet fashion contest open to Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) students. CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements continues to support new design talent and to inspire creative minds by introducing new brilliant cuts and beautiful crystal elements twice a year.
The theme of the pet fashion competition is Dog in the City: Pet Accessories for the Urban Pup. These days, pet owners are likely to take their pets with them when they go out about town, to meet friends for coffee, stroll through the park, or window shop. Not only is it important for man’s best friend to be warm, comfortable, and safe, but also to be as stylish as his or her owner, while reflecting their own personalities. Each student was asked to use the bustling city and CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements to spark their imagination.
Eighteen talented student finalists were selected and were asked to bring their sketches to life. The submitted designs include crystal embellished collars and leads, carry bags, jewelry, apparel, and accessories. The finalists include:

Our panel of experts judged the designs based on creativity, use of CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements, craftsmanship, and interpretation of the contest theme.
The winner will receive a one year free portfolio Look Book on Pupstyle.com. CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements is happy to partner with Pet Fashion Week NY in order to offer the students a platform to showcase their inspired creations. The winner will be announced during Pet Fashion Week.
